AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimisation. Where SEO is about ranking in Google's traditional blue-link results, AEO is about appearing in the AI-generated answers that tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews give users. When someone types "best lash salon in Burleigh Heads" into an AI, it reads websites, reviews, and structured data to decide which businesses to mention. AEO is the practice of structuring your online presence so you're the one it names. The techniques overlap with SEO (schema markup, fast pages, clear content) but the priorities differ. AEO rewards directness, structured information, and local specificity over keyword density.

It overlaps significantly. Strong SEO foundations (fast site, clear structure, good content) also help AEO. But AEO has specific requirements SEO doesn't: llms.txt files for AI crawlers, FAQ content structured for AI extraction, and entity signals that AI tools recognise as local authority. A site optimised for traditional keyword search isn't automatically optimised for AI-generated answers. That gap is what we close.

We deliver in 14-21 days from when we receive your content. Day 1 is the kickoff call. Days 2-5 cover the AEO audit, content collection, and Google Business Profile rebuild. Days 6-14 are the build itself, including website, schema markup, and AI booking assistant setup. Days 15-21 are testing, review, and launch. The main variable is how quickly you can get us your photos, services list, and any copy you want to keep. Most clients are live within 14 days when they're responsive.

That's fine. We can audit your existing site and layer AEO on top: schema markup, a structured FAQ page, llms.txt, and a Google Business Profile rebuild. However, most existing salon websites weren't built with AEO or performance in mind, and retrofitting can take longer than building fresh. We'll tell you honestly which approach makes more sense after looking at your current site.

Our AI booking assistant works alongside your existing booking system, not instead of it. It responds to new enquiries on Instagram DMs and routes bookings into whatever system you already use, whether that's Fresha, Timely, Kitomba, or anything else. You keep your existing client records and workflows. The assistant handles the first response and the booking capture; the rest of your operation stays the same.

The niche specialisation is deliberate: it means we know the local suburbs, the competitor landscape, and the AI search patterns for this market specifically. No. We only work with beauty salons and aesthetic clinics. This is a deliberate choice. Every part of our offer, from the website templates to the AEO methodology to the DM automation scripts, is built for this industry. A generalist agency can serve any business; we can serve yours better.

The Growth retainer adds monthly AEO tracking (we rerun your baseline prompts, document any shifts, and update your content accordingly), DM automation maintenance and tuning, website content updates, a monthly performance report delivered as a PDF and Loom walkthrough, and a 30-minute strategy call. For Aesthetic Foundation clients, it also includes TGA compliance monitoring for any new content. The retainer is not a vague "we'll keep an eye on things" arrangement. There are specific deliverables each month.

We guarantee the quality and completeness of every deliverable. We don't guarantee a specific AI search ranking, because no honest agency can: the algorithms are not fully transparent and results vary by suburb, query, and category. What we do guarantee is that your AEO setup will be done correctly, that we'll track visibility monthly and adjust, and that clients on the Growth tier will see documented progress in their reports. AEO results are typically visible within 30-60 days of launch.

The setup fee covers the build and is non-refundable once work begins, which is standard for any productised service. The monthly retainer has no lock-in. You can cancel with 30 days' notice. Your website stays live and belongs to you. We'll transfer all hosting credentials and hand over every asset. The only thing you lose is the ongoing tracking and support.
